The designed high efficiency cyclone gives an efficiency of 91.1 % as against the desired 90 % which is safe design for controlling air pollutant concentration in the form of SPM from kiln attached to the cement plant.
Hurriclon cyclone is a specially designed preheater cyclone with two outlet connector pipes of cleaned gas in the cement industry. In Kerman cement plant Iran the initial structure of this cyclone was changed. This caused a decrease in the cyclone efficiency.
